Donations

Thank you for your interest in supporting Moon & Stars, and your local library district!

We accept donations during all regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, and Saturday 10am to 5pm)

​

All donations are tax deductable, and we will provide you with a receipt!

Guidelines for books: We will accept all donations of books in GOOD condition. We cannot accept books with damaged covers or bindings, water damage, missing pages, or which have been written or highlighted in (other than the occasional, and non-intrusive, to/from sort of note inside a cover).

 

In addition to books, we will accept donations of audio and visual media, such as: 8-track cassettes, cassettes, records, and CD's,VHS tapes, and DVD's/Blue Rays, as long as they are in acceptable condition, and in their original cases/covers.

We are happy to accept magazines, as long as the address labels have been removed, and they are in near-new condition (no pages cut/ripped out, cover intact, etc.)

​

We accept encyclopedia sets, as long as they are not more than 7 years old. 

​

We are not able to facilitate home pick up of donations, and reserve the right to decline or discard any donations.

Please DO NOT leave donations outside of the store during closed hours!
